Offered for sale is one borosilicate (heat resistant) 500mL glass separatory funnel in a pear shape. It is hand blown borosilicate glass with PTFE stopcock (valve) and stopper. (the middle one in the top picture) PTFE stopcocks are less likely to seize up than glass to glass fittings and do not require expensive lubricant therefore reducing the risk of contamination. It is hand calibrated and accurate to better than 1% total volume and are used for separation of immiscible liquids, mostly for organic chemistry. We also are selling 250mL and 1000mL separatory funnels, separatory funnels with glass stopcocks and separatory funnels with a ring and stand.
