It contains agar, Pancreatic digest of Casein, and tryptone. (In order to prevent boiling over when heated, the bottle is actually larger than 350ml. BOTTLE IS NOT SUPPOSED TO BE FULL!) The culture media used is manufactured in a FDA certified and cGMP Controlled facility. The ready to pour agar is a gelling agent extracted from red algae. The nutrient agar contains beef extract (provides carbohydrates, nitrogen, vitamins, salt), peptone (helps control pH), and agar (a carbohydrate used as a solidifying agent).
