Tryptic Soy Agar Powder, 40g

 

Tryptic soy agar is always a bacteriological favorite. It is better than nutrient agar for selectivity and maintaining bacteria cultures. Contains Pancreatic digest of Casein, agar, pepsic digest of soybean meal, and glucose. This product comes as easy to use pre-measured packets with 40G of agar product to make 1000mL of finished solution. Preparation of the solution requires the use of some laboratory equipment such as a hot plate or lab burner. This powder has a useful shelf life of 2 years.
