New to our lab glass line-up is this new borosilicate (heat resistant) glass conical separatory funnel, at an affordable price. This size is great for separating the glycerine (soap) from oil base in biodiesel manufacturing. Both top and stopcock are PTFE, which are not as likely to freeze in position during use. Due to the weight of the filled funnel, no less than a 6x9 inch stand should be used to provide good stability. Our STA103 would be best (approx: 6.75 inches by 11 inches).
