Tryptic Soy Agar Powder, 100g

 

100 grams bulk Tryptic Soy Powder. Tryptic soy agar is always a bacteriological favorite. It is better than nutrient agar for selectivity and maintaining bacteria cultures. Contains Pancreatic digest of Casein, agar, pepsic digest of soybean meal, and glucose. 40 grams of  Tryptic Soy Agar will make 1 liter of agar.  100 grams will make approximately 2,200mL of finished solution. Preparation of the solution requires the use of some laboratory equipment such as a hot plate or lab burner. This powder has a useful shelf life of at least 2 years.
