With a light gray exterior and a hard, scratch-resistant hammer finish, these cabinets are as attractive as they are durable. High-impact thermoplastic handles are attached to the doors. Heavy steel double-wall construction allows for a full inch of high-density mineral wool insulation. Inside, the cabinet features corrosion-resistant aluminized steel.
Quincy Lab uses UL and CSA-recognized components in all their ovens. An illuminated ON/OFF rocker switch, as well as a heat cycle pilot light, are both featured prominently on the front of the control panel. The temperature can be controlled using a bimetal thermostat.
The heating unit consists of energy-efficient, low-watt density incoloy sheathed elements that have been engineered with a compact design for quick run-up and recovery times. Temperature uniformity has been greatly improved over previous models, by using a perforated heat shield with can absorb radiant heat and distribute it more evenly.
The "GC" series is a gravity convection oven, designed to meet the laboratory needs of industry, research organizations, and schools. Well-crafted and versatile, they can be used for a number of applications including, but not limited to, part drying, baking, curing, sterilization, evaporating, heat treating, annealing, and testing.
All ovens feature a full 18 month manufacturers warranty.
