Cork Sizes

When trying to determine what size cork stopper you need for your specific application, you will want to take a ruler and measure across the widest part of the opening/hole that you want to put the cork in.

The hole and cork sizes listed below are an approximate fit, that will have the cork sitting roughly 1/2 into the hole and halfway out. Be aware though, that because cork is a natural product it may swell or shrink, in certain environments.

Example: The hole you want to put a stopper in is approximately 1/2" in diameter. Using a Size 3 cork stopper, this will leave roughly 1/2 of the cork in the opening, and 1/2 of the cork out. If you want less sticking out, you may want to go down to a Size 2 stopper, and if you want more out of the opening, move up to a Size 4.

**Please be aware that there is some variance in the top and point diameters of the corks.
