Forearm Muscle Threader - Human Anatomy
by Denoyer-Geppert

One of the best ways to learn something is by getting hands-on experience, and biology and anatomy are no different. This particular muscle threader focuses on muscles of the human forearm, and is particularly useful in learning not just the names of the muscles in the forearm, but also their origins and insertions.

The muscle threader consists of a vacuum-formed relief template of both the anterior and posterior portions of the human forearm. The challenge that students will face with this educational aide is to "thread" the different color-coded strings through each of the appropriate osseofibrous tunnels, connecting them to the correct points of insertion and origin. Each color-coded string represents a different muscle, and is notated on the legend that has been printed to the side of the forearm views.

With content divided into separate anterior and posterior views, students are able to learn one side of the forearm's musculature at a time. Each of the muscle threads can be easily and repeatedly detached and restrung until mastery is achieved, making it useful not only for learning, but for self-study, review, and testing.

Overall, the forearm muscle threader measures approximately 24x14x1 inches (LxWxH).
