Rhodonite Mineral - Pack of 10
by American Educational Products

Rhodonite, an inosilicate manganese mineral, gets its name from the Greek word rhodos, which means rosy. This is due to its rose-pink to brownish red color, though it often trends more towards brown due to oxidation across the surface of the mineral. It has found use as an ornamental stone, and is found in a variety of places across the world. The manganese has been found to be partly replaced by other ores, such as iron, magnesium, calcium, and occasionally zinc.

Each rock or mineral specimen measures approximately 1-2 inches in length along its longest side.
